"Good hainanese chicken rice & chicken rice balls. They have stirfry roast pork with garlic & chilli like homecooked. Every Friday, they have Nyonya food, taste like homecooked too. Local coffee is very good. You can get Nyonya Chang & cute Nyonya pineapple tarts here too."

"Was round the corner searching for food and saw the google reviews so we decided to try! Maybe we had super high expectations from those 5 stars... But... Chicken rice balls lacked of the aroma and fragrance. Slightly bland. Roasted chicken has beautiful tender meat, it's not dry like those outside selling ones, but the skin is too soft, it's not crispy roasted skin. It's like those that you order takeaway to bring home and it got soften after you left it on the table for long, kinda soft skin. Steamed chicken was not bad tho, skin was soft meat was tender. Overall both chicken lacked of the fragrance. But it's not bad. The chili sauce was spicy! And there's no ginger garlic umami. I think it's not the traditional typical chicken rice chili, maybe some other chili sauce. Scallion ginger oil lack of fragrance, it's more on the gingery side, I couldn't taste any green onion aroma, or the cilantro. Red bean soup quite nice, sweet thick with orange peel! And portion is huge! Yongtaufu they have fish or pork filling ones, quite nice. It's tasty! The fillings were marinated quite well. And the soup is corn soup! What a surprise! It's very yummy! Only downside? The ytf are all room temperature cold. Bcoz left outside at counter top like that. It's better to order soup ones. Foods overall not bad, but I'd say I have tried better ones outside. It's quite a great choice if you're nearby and wanna have some cozy food."

"I was curious as to why there is only a 4.9 star rating for this place. So I scrolled thru the reviews and only found 5-star ratings which is most deserving for this place. So Google may have some glitch that tapered off that 0.1 star. Don't be bothered by that point-one star shortage. This place is absolutely awesome. The food, the service, the atmosphere. I was so warmly greeted by the lady serving up the dishes and she took my order with a smile. As for the food. I had a craving for chicken rice balls after doing a 10-Day course which served mainly vegetarian food. This place did the trick. I ordered the Roasted Chicken (breast meat) Rice Balls (for just RM10) and within moments was with my food and savoured every spoonful. It was done to perfection. The chicken was roasted to perfection. The chilli was blended to perfection. Even the soup was made to (you guessed it)... perfection. I've added this place to my favourites and will absolutely visit again when I come to Malacca and stay around the Megamall vicinity. Its just a short walk from Imperial Heritage Hotel (where I was staying). In summary, a must try if you have a craving for Chicken Rice Balls."

"A rare gem to find. This place is soooo under-rated. The sauce are made with heart, the roasted pork is sooooo crunchy, and the delicious chicken rice balls remind me of the delicious taste mothers used to make for their children. I hope this place thrive. And I'll definitely visit again the next time I'm here."

"This is real hidden gem. After decades of chicken rice experience in Melaka, this is top pick for me for now! Every day there'll be various delicious tong shui n dishes (chicken, pork, etc) like mystery box like that... Every time I see females (old n young who don't cook themselves!) coming here to eat. Legit. Best of all, aunty uncle owners are very friendly n polite. Aka proper human beings!"
